The item was originally sealed. Because the LEGO pieces were loose inside the can rather than packaged in separate bags, I initially believed it may have been used. However, after opening and inspecting the contents, I learned that this is how these 2006 LEGO sets were originally packaged. All pieces appear unused and are in excellent, like-new condition. The item is complete and was opened only for inspection.
