Cosmetically beautiful, works as it should. The swirling rainbow distortion you see on the display is caused by a very common optical phenomenon known as Newton's rings or thin-film interference. Please examine the pictures to see what I mean. This is completely harmless and does not damage the underlying electronics or change the function of the liquid crystal pixels.
