LEGO 002-1 4.5V Samsonite Gears Motor Set, also known as No. 002 Motor Pak, is a Samsonite Basic Set released in 1965 with 3 pieces. The set includes a 4.5V motor, a 4.5V battery box, and a white wire with red 1-prong connectors, intended to motorize LEGO gear models and other mechanical arrangements. Samsonite’s catalog described it as a motor pack with battery housing for three standard flashlight batteries. It was produced by Samsonite for the United States and Canada, and it was also sold through the Sears catalog in 1966.
